Will Your Employees Still Work From Home Post-Coronavirus?

The UK is gradually getting back to work with the easing of the restrictions imposed to slow the spread of Covid-19.

However, although people are now allowed back to workplaces, the official government advice is still for those who can work from home to continue to do so. Some people have even expressed a desire to continue working from home, if not permanently, then certainly more frequently than in the past.

Business Matters Magazine recently shared the findings of a survey carried out by 4Com, which revealed that almost six in ten Brits believe that working from home has improved their working lives.

This is in comparison to the 18 per cent of respondents who stated that their working lives had suffered due to working from home during lockdown.

What’s more, over 80 per cent of those surveyed said that their company has the capability to support longer-term working from home, with just nine per cent unsure whether their company had sufficient technology in place to enable such a switch.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced many businesses to adapt to working from home incredibly quickly, which means some of the current solutions may not be perfect. But with so many people embracing working from home, now is the ideal opportunity to make sure you have the right kind of UK Voip service to allow your employees to continue working from home if they want to.

For any business that has yet to start using a Voip service because of fears over business disruption, we’re here to allay your worries. There is no downtime when we set up a Voip system and we can complete the setup remotely over the phone, so there are also no risks in terms of social distancing for your employees either.
