What is the big BT Switch Off 2025?

British Telecom are currently working on switching off the PSTN and ISDN networks by the end of 2025. This means that any business phone or service that operates on the old analogue network will be switched off.

The BT Switch Off 2025 will affect hundreds of thousands of businesses, particularly businesses that are not prepared or unaware of BT’s intention to phase out its old network infrastructure. The current traditional phone lines are a legacy technology with high maintenance costs and many disadvantages.

By the end of 2025 businesses must have upgraded to IP telephony to avoid interruption to their telephone services.

What is the BT Switch Off?

The BT Switch Off refers to the discontinuation of the traditional copper network in favour of newer, more reliable technologies like fibre-optic broadband. This transition will revolutionize the way you connect, communicate, and work in the digital age.

Why Should You Upgrade?

Superior Speed and Reliability:

Fibre-optic broadband offers lightning-fast internet speeds and a more stable connection, ensuring seamless browsing, streaming, voice, video conferencing and downloading experiences.

Future-Proof Connectivity:

By upgrading to fibre, you will be well-prepared for the future as it can handle the increasing demands of emerging technologies like virtual reality, smart homes, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Enhanced Business Efficiency: For business owners fibre-optic broadband provides the necessary bandwidth to support cloud-based applications, IP telephony, video conferencing, and other data-intensive operations. This upgrade will boost your productivity and help you stay ahead in the competitive market.

What Should You Do Next?

Check Eligibility:

Contact our customer service team Contact Us - s3 Communications Ltd to check if your area is eligible for fibre-optic broadband and the options available for moving your business to IP Telephony.

Choose a Plan:

We'll notify you of broadband plans available at your location, as well as options for IP Telephone systems.

Schedule an Upgrade:

Once you have decided which plan you would like to choose, we can then book an appointment with the technicians to install the new fibre connection at your premises. Once this is in place we can setup and migrate you to the IP Telephony service.

Enjoy the Benefits:

Sit back, relax, and experience the next level of connectivity.
